Sweaters For Seniors

"Sweaters for Seniors" provides sweaters to our seniors through Community Support by Christmas Caroling the nursing homes during the holidays and "Warming their hearts with a Sweater." These wonderful people will be apart of this program, and will share Christmas Eve Day by receiving a sweater and singing a Christmas Carol. We want our elderly residents to know their in our thoughts during the holidays and to wish them a Merry Christmas.  

We are collecting donations for the Sweaters for Seniors Program through people in our community, area businesses, friends, and family. As we prepared for Christmas, we hope to give sweaters to several nursing homes. Sweater donations need to be plain colored, zip-up, button-up, or v-neck new sweaters and without hoods. The new sweaters need to be machine washable and a sweater that our elderly residents can wear all year. We prefer not receiving sweatshirts since they are hard to give during the holidays. We try to give our elderly residents; new, washable, warm, heavyweight, plain colored sweater. We except lab blankets too.

Due to the HIPPA Privacy Act, we are collecting the Seniors Citizens names who signed up, so we can purchase sweaters for them. We will continue collecting the HIPPA permission forms and purchase sweaters for them as their names come in for this years Christmas list. Keeping in mind, the names on these forms are confidential.  

We want to thank our five nursing home staff for working with our "Sweaters For Seniors" Program by completing the HIPPA permission forms so our program can purchase these warm sweaters for our elderly residents!
